Kitchen Aid 325 watt Mixer

The Kitchen Aid Mixer is a great idea. It's a miniature version of the large mixers used in bakeries and restaurants.

The BEST part of using the Kitchen Aid is you don’t have to stand there HOLDING a mixer. You can turn it on, add stuff to the mix and let IT do the work while you move around doing other things.

Does it work well? YES. It will mix the crap out of just about everything you put in it, especially eggs. It can WHIP eggs faster than you ever could with a hand mixer. You can also whip cream from heavy cream and make really great dips and creams from dairy products.

The real debate people have with these is there are essentially 2 versions:

1. The "Professional" version that has METAL GEARS and makes a LOT of noise when it runs.

2. The Normal 325 watt versions that use Nylon Gears that are much QUIETER when it runs.

Both work great, NO the Nylon gears will not strip out unless you try to make bread with it. (Your suppose to kneed bread dough by hand anyway) but you ONLY need the professional version if you make bread dough with it.

Otherwise just get the 325 watt version.

They make REALLY COOL colors such as Sea Foam Green and Artic Blue.

If you put one in your Kitchen it will make you want to bake!
